North Central Railway, Allahabad has notified for the recruitment of 413 Act Apprentice vacancies in Wagon Repair, Jhansi and Rail Spring Karkhana Sithauli. Last date for the submission of online application is 17th March 2017.

1. Fitter: 195 Posts (General-98, OBC-53, SC-29, ST-15)

2. Welder (Gas & Electric): 102 Posts (General-51, OBC-28, SC-15, ST-8)

3. Mechanic Machine & Tool Maintenance: 19 Posts (General-10, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1)

4. Machinist: 17 Posts (General-9, OBC-4, SC-3, ST-1)

5. Painter: 32 Posts (General-16, OBC-9, SC-5, ST-2)

6. Crane Operator: 04 Posts (General-2, OBC-1, SC-1)

7. Electrician: 17 Posts (General-9, OBC-4, SC-3, ST-1)

8. Programming & System Administration Assistant (COPA): 02 Posts (General-1, OBC-1)

ii. Rail Spring Karkhana Sithauli: 25 Posts

9. MMTM: 25 Posts (General-13, OBC-6, SC-4, ST-2)

Age Limit: Candidates must have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 1st January 2017. 5 years of age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10th class or its equivalent (under 10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks and ITI passed certificate in related trade from a recognized ITI affiliated to NCVT.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit & agreement of training. Training period will be one year under apprentice Act 1961.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay of Rs. 100/- in favour of WAO, NCR, Jhansi and payable at Jhansi. A portal fee of Rs. 70/- should compulsorily be paid online by all candidates. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates should register online through website www.mponline.gov.in For online registration candidates have to upload photo, signature and index finger image. File size should be under 200 KB. File format should be jpeg. Other documents to be uploaded are 10th pass certificate, ITI marksheet, Caste certificate (for reservation groups) and identification certificate. After completion of online registration, take printout of the application and send the hard copy of application and DD through ordinary/ Registered/ Speed Post to Chief Workshop Manager(P) NCR, Jhansi (UP) 284003. Candidate should write his/her name, fathers name & application registration number at the backside of the Demand Draft.
