Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has notified for the recruitment of 152 Executive Trainee vacancies. Vacancies in Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Computer Science disciplines based on GATE 2017 score are available. Eligible candidates may apply online before 31st March 2017.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess Full Time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical)) from a recognized University/ Institute or other recognised Professional Societies (Eg AMIE) with Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
2. Electronics: 15 Posts
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess Full Time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Electrical Communication/ Telecommunication Engg) from a recognized University/ Institute or other recognised Professional Societies (Eg AMIE) with Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
3. Civil: 15 Posts
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Civil Engg.) from a recognized University/ Institute or other recognised Professional Societies (Eg AMIE) with Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
4. Computer Science: 19 posts
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Computer Science/ Computer Engg./ Information Technology) from a recognized University/ Institute or other recognised Professional Societies (Eg AMIE) with Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age Limit: Upper age limit of candidates should be 28 years as on 31st December 2016. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and10 years for PWD Candidates. For more relaxation details refer the notification.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE 2017 Score, Group Discussion & Interview. A weightage of 85% for Gate score, 3% for GD and 12% for interview will be given.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- (Non Refundable) through online or off line mode. Departmental candidates/ SC/ ST/ PED/ Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Online Mode: Candidates should pay fee through online by Debit cards/ Credit cards/ Net banking.
Off Line Mode or Pay by Cash mode: Candidates should pay Fee through pay in slip or Challan from any branches of SBI.
