All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has notified for the recruitment of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (Group A), Reader and Lecturer vacancies in various departments under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). 178 vacancies are available. Last date for online submission of application is 4th April 2017.

AIIMS Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 178
Name of the Post:
1. Professor: 41 Posts (General-24, SC-6, OBC-11)

Experience: Experience not less than eleven years in Research or teaching.

Salary Scale: Rs.37400 - Rs 67000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.10500/- (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with the minimum pay of Rs.51600/- and AGP of Rs.10500/-.Up-to 40% of posts of Professors will get Higher Administrative (HAG) scale subject to clearance of the prescribed process by the IB/GB.

2. Additional Professor: 33 Posts (General-19, SC-4, OBC-10)

Experience: Experience not less than ten
years in Research or teaching. Those who are applying for super speciality department, DM qualification and 7 years prior experience are also needed along with the eligibility criteria for professor.

Salary Scale: Rs.37400 - Rs 67000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9500/- (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with minimum Pay of Rs.46000/- and AGP of Rs.9500/-.

3. Associate Professor: 46 Posts (General-22, SC-7, ST-2, OBC-15)

Experience: Experience not less than six years in Research or teaching.Those who are applying for super speciality department, DM qualification and 3 years prior experience are also needed along with the eligibility criteria for professor.

Salary Scale: Rs.37400 - Rs 67000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000/- (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with minimum Pay of Rs.42800/- and AGP of Rs.9000/-.

4. Assistant Professor: 58 Posts (General-27, SC-11, ST-3, OBC-17)

Experience: Experience not less than three years in Research or teaching.Those who are applying for super speciality department, DM qualification and 1 year prior experience are also needed along with the eligibility criteria for professor.

Salary Scale: Rs.15600 - Rs 39100/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000/- with a minimum Pay of Rs.30,000/- and AGP of Rs.8000/- (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with provision to move to PB-4 after three years (Rs.37400 - Rs 67000/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/-.

5. Reader/ Associate Professor (Nursing College)

Educational Qualification
1. Master's degree in Nursing
2. Registration in Nurse midwife
3. Eight years of total work experience including five years teaching experience.

Salary Scale: Rs.15600 - Rs 39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7600/-.

6. Lecturer/ Assistant Professor

Educational Qualification
1. Master's degree in Nursing
2. Registration in Nurse midwife
3. Five years of total work experience including two years teaching experience.

 Salary Scale: Rs 15600 - Rs 39100/- with Grade pay of Rs 6600/-

Age Limit: 
For Posts 1 and 2: Age limit of candidates should not exceed 58 years as on 4th April 2017

For Posts 3 and 4:  Age limit of candidates should not exceed 50 years as 4th April 2017.

Age relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ ST/ PH (OH)/ Government Servant (As per DoPT instruction) candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification:
For posts 1 to 4 (Medical candidates):
1. Candidates should have A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act)
2. A post Graduation qualification e.g. MD/ MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject and/ or M.Ch for surgical super Specialties and D.M for Medical Super Specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

For Post No. 1 and 2 (Non Medical Candidates):
Post Graduation qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline/ allied subject and Doctorate Degree of a recognized University

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam & interview.
