Kerala Bhasha Institute Recruitment 2017 Details

1. Research Officer/ Editorial Assistant - 9 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Post Graduation in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from a recognised university or Graduation in Engineering Technology/ Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry/ Health.
2. Proficiency in Malayalam language.
3. Experience in editing publications.
4. Teaching/ Research Experience from Colleges, Universities or other Research Institutes.
5. Work experience in Research/ Editing for not less than 5 years.
Salary Scale: Rs 29,200/-
2. Sub Editor - 3 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduation
2. Proficiency in Malayalam language.
3. Higher Grade Certificate in Proof Reading (KGTE or MGTE) or its equivalent qualification or Three year's work experience in Proof Reading from any famous printing press or book publishing house.
Salary Scale: Rs 29,200/-
3. Librarian - Grade I & II - 4 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduation in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from a recognised university.
2. Lower Grade Certificate in Proof Reading (KGTE or MGTE) or its equivalent qualification.
3. Two year's work experience in Proof Reading from any famous printing press or book publishing house.
4. Work experience in DTP is desirable.
Salary Scale: Rs 25,200/-
4. UD/ LD Copy Holder - 5 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
1. SSLC or its equivalent qualification.
2. KGTE/ MGTE Lower Grade Certificate in book binding.
Salary Scale: Rs 19,000/-
Age Limit: Age of candidates should not exceed 50 years as on 1st January 2017.
Selection Process: Selection of Candidates will be based on Written test and interview. One year will be the contract period. Selection of candidates will be done under reservation rules. Rank list expiration period will be for one year.
Written test: Written test for Editorial post will be comprised of Translation from English to Malayalam, Thesis summary, Short essay and General Knowledge. For other posts, General Knowledge test and practical exam will be conducted.
