Goa Shipyard Limited has a notified for the recruitment of executive vacancies. General Manager, Additional General Manager,  Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager and Management Trainee vacancies are available on fixed term employment basis. A total of 29 vacancies are available including 18 vacancies for management trainees. Last date to apply online is 5th April 2017 by 5:00 PM.

Educational Qualification
1. Graduation.
2. 2 years Full time MBA/ MSW/ PG/ PG Diploma HRM/ IR/ Labour Social Welfare/ Specialisation in Personnel Management.
3. Twenty years of experience in GM post or Sixteen years of experience in AGM post.

Age Limit: 52 years (GM), 48 years (AGM)

2. Additional General Manager/ Deputy General Manager (Company Secretary): 1 Post

Educational Qualification
1. Graduation.
2. Associate in ICSI/ Fellow membership.
3. Sixteen years of experience in AGM post/ Thirteen years of experience in DGM post.

Age Limit: 48 years (AGM), 44 years (DGM)

3. Additional General Manager/ Deputy General Manager/ Senior Manager (Technical Assistant to CMD): 1 Post

Educational Qualification
1. Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from a recognized University/AICTE approved institution with specialization in Naval architecture/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation.
2. Sixteen years of experience in AGM post.

Age Limit: 51 years (AGM), 47 years (DGM), 42 years (SM)

4. Deputy General Manager/ Senior Manager/ Manager (Public Relations): 1 Post

Educational Qualification
1. Masters Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Media Advertising/ Publicity from a recognized university/ Institute.
2. Thirteen years of experience in DGM post/ Ten years of experience in SM post/ Seven years of experience in Manager post

Age Limit: 44 years (DGM), 39 years (SM), 36 years (M)

5. Manager/ Deputy Manager (Safety): 1 Post (Job on contract for 3 years)

Educational Qualification
1. Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/ AICTE approved institution and 1 year Diploma in Industrial Safety from Central Labour Institute (CLI) or Regional Labour Institute (RLI) or any other institute recognized by the State.

Age Limit: 41 years (M), 38 years (DM)

Age Limit: Age of candidates should be 28 years for applying Management Trainee posts. Last year students can also apply for Management Trainee posts. Training period will be one year. It can be extended according to the necessity. Salary Scale during the training period will be Rs 16400. Those who successfully complete training will be posted as Assistant Manager.

Age relaxation: 10 years of age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST candidates, 8 years for OBC and 5 years for PWD candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of  written test/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.500/- in the form of Demand Draft in favor of “Goa Shipyard Limited” payable at Vasco-da-Gama, Goa. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the payment of fees. Also No fee is required to be paid by internal candidates.
