Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) invites applications for Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) vacancies through online direct recruitment. 219 Vacancies are available. Female candidates can also apply. Last date for the receipt of online application is 25th April 2017.

1. General - 70 posts (open market), 5 posts (Ex-servicemen)

2. OBC - 78 posts (open market), 2 posts (Ex-servicemen)

3. SC - 41 posts (open market), 1 post (Ex-servicemen)

4. ST - 22 posts (open market).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Intermediate (Class 12th) ( under 10+2 system) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government.

Skill Test (On computer) will be conducted for the candidates which include dictation and transcription.

Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute
Transcription time :- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on
computer

Age Limit: Age of candidates should be between 18 and 25 years as on 25th April 2017.
Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC
candidates. For Ex-servicemen, age relaxation is applicable as per rules. Upper age limit for those who apply in the departmental quota will be 45 years.

Physical Standard:

For males:
Height: 165 cm. (For SC/ST, 162.5 cm)
Chest width: 77 cm (unexpanded) - 82 cm (expanded) (For SC/ST, 76 cm (expanded) - 81 cm (unexpanded))

For Females:
Height: 155 cm.( For SC/ST, 150 cm)

Weight: Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards
(For males and females).

Salary Scale: Rs 29200 - Rs 92300/-

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standards Test (PST), Documentation, Written test, Skill Test and Medical examination which will be conducted by the CRPF at respective Recruitment centres as per schedule.

Application fee: Candidates should pay an application fee of Rs 100/- online using net banking or Debit/ Credit cards or through any branches of SBI. Women/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from the payment of fees.

How to apply: The application must be submitted ONLINE only. No application will be accepted offline. The facility of submitting online applications is available on website "www.crpfindia.com" from 27th March 2017 to 25th April 2017. Procedure for online submission of application is also available in said website. Candidates should upload passport size photograph and signature. Instructions for payment of fees will be provided at the time of online submission of application. After successful completion of application submission, candidates should note the application number for future reference.

Last date for online submission of application: 25th April 2017.
Tentative Date for written exam: 16th July 2017.
