Indian Maritime University (IMU) has notified for the recruitment of 31 non teaching vacancies on direct recruitment basis. Assistant Registrar (Finance), Private Secretary, Assistant (Finance) & Assistant vacancies are there. Eligible candidates can apply online on or before 8th March 2017.

1. Assistant Registrar (Finance): 1 Post (OBC-1)( Kolkata-1)
Age: 40 years.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Commerce with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade / Bachelor’s Degree and CA/ICWA with three years of experience in finance and accounts wing.
Salary Scale: Rs 15600 - Rs39100, Rs 5400 as Grade Pay.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Online Screening Test and interview.
2. Private Secretary: 4 Posts (General-3, OBC-1) (IMU HQ Chennai-4)
Age: 45 years
Salary Scale: Rs 9300 - Rs 34800, Rs 4800 as Grade Pay.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree, Shorthand Higher/ Senior Grade in English (120 wpm), Typewriting Higher/ Senior Grade in English (45 wpm), Proficiency in Information & Communication Technology.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected based on online screening test followed by skill tests in typing and shorthand. Interview will not be conducted for this post.
3. Assistant (Finance): 4 Posts (General-2, OBC-1, ST-1) (IMU HQ Chennai-2, Mumbai-2)
Age: 35 years
Salary Scale: Rs 5200 - Rs 20200, Rs 2400 as Grade Pay.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or its equivalent grade in Commerce/ Mathematics/ Statistics.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected based on online screening test. Interview will not be conducted for this post.
4. Assistant: 22 Posts (General-12, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1, PH-1) (IMU HQ Chennai-12, Chennai-4, Mumbai-2, Kolkata-2, Kochi-2)
Age: 35 years
Salary Scale: Rs 5200 - Rs 20200, Rs 2400 as Grade Pay.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected based on online screening test. Interview will not be conducted for this post.
