College of Materials Management, Jabalpur under the Ministry of Defence has notified for the recruitment of Librarian & Information Assistant, Steno II, MTS (Messenger, Chowkidar, Gardner & Safaiwala), Barber, Tradesman mate & Groundsman on temporary basis. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before 17th February 2017.

1. Librarian & Information Assistant: 1 Post
2. Steno II: 1 Post
3. MTS (Messenger): 10 Posts
4. MTS (Chowkidar): 5 Posts
5. MTS (Gardner): 5 Posts
6. MTS (Safaiwala): 8 Posts
7. Barber: 3 Posts
8. Tradesman (Erstwhile Mazdoor): 2 Posts
9. Groundsman: 1 Post

Age limit of candidates is 18 - 25 years for UR, SC/ST candidates have an age relaxation of 5 years on upper age limit, OBC candidates have 3 years of age relaxation on upper age limit. Age relaxation of Ex-servicemen and physically handicapped persons is admissible as per rules.

For Post-1, Candidates should possess Matriculation & two years Diploma course in Library Science from a recognized university.

Pay Scale:

Rs 5200 - Rs 20200, Rs 2400 as grade pay.

For Post-2, candidates should pass 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Expertise in Dictation (10 minutes @ 80 wpm), Transcription (50 min (Eng), 65 min (Hindi))

Pay Scale:

Rs 5200 - Rs 202000, Rs 2400 as grade pay.

For Post-3 to 6, Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board. 1 year experience is preferred.
For Post-7, Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board. Conversant in the duties of barber job. 1 year experience is preferred.
For Post 8-9, Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Pay Scale for Posts 3 - 9:

Rs 5200 - Rs 20200, Rs 1800 as grade pay.

For Post-1, candidates will be selected based on Trade Test & Written Test.
For Post-2, candidates will be selected based on a Written Test & Stenography Test.
For Post-3 to 5, candidates will be selected based on Written test.
For Post-6, candidates will be selected based on Written Test and practical test.
For Post-7, candidates will be selected based on Physical Test, Endurance test and written test.
For Post-8, candidates will be selected based on Physical Test, Trade test and written test.
