Indian Navy has notified for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer vacancies as Pilot/ Air Traffic Controller from unmarried male and female candidates. Selected candidates will be given training in Ezhimala Naval Academy, Kannur from January 2018 onwards. Last date for online submission of application is 31st March 2017.

Name of the Course: Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Pilot/ Air Traffic Controller
Name of the Post: SSC Officer

Age Limit:

For ATC: Age of candidates should be between 20 and 24 years. Candidates should be born between 2nd January 1993 and 1st January 1997, (both dates inclusive)

For Pilot (MR): Age of candidates should be between 18 and 23 years. Candidates should be born between 2nd January1994 and 1st January 1999 (both dates inclusive)

For Pilot (CPL): Age of candidates should be between 18 and 24 years. Candidates should be born between 2nd January 1993 and 1st January 1999 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Engineering Degree or are in the final year of Engineering Course (with Physics & Maths in 12th Standard) in any discipline from a recognised university/ educational institute with 60% marks till 5th/ 7th semester, in regular/ integrated course respectively.

Physical Requirements (Pilot)
Height:
162.5 cm
Good eye sight and weight according to the height is needed.

Name of the post: Air Traffic Controller

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class XII. Candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics at class XII.

Physical Requirements (ATC)
Height for Males:
157 cm
Height for Females: 152 cm

Name of the post: Pilot (CPL)

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed Engineering Degree (with Physics & Maths in 12th Standard) in any discipline from a recognised university/ educational institute with 60% marks till 5th/ 7th semester, in regular/ integrated course respectively. In addition to this, CPL Qualification from Naval ministry is also needed. Final year Engineering students can also apply.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of SSB selection process (1st session: Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and Group Discussion Test.
2nd session: Psychological Test, Group Task Test and interview). Those who succeed in both sessions are selected for medical test. Final selection will be made after the success in Medical test.

After successful completion of application submission, candidates have to take the printout of application including Application No: for future reference. This Application No: will be produced at the time of interview.
